BBL vacancy agricultural engineering or mobile equipment engineer

From the coming school year, HuizingHarvest has a long-term BBL (=basic vocational learning) work placement available in our HuizingHarvest Projects team. Will you travel the world with our team to provide technical support to manufacturers of agricultural machinery and large-scale agricultural companies? Our BBL work placement suits you perfectly if you have an affinity with the agricultural sector and if you start with level 3 or level 4 towards, for example, agricultural engineering or mobile equipment engineer.
What you learn during your work placement
  • We work with different brands of agricultural machinery and are therefore not tied to a specific brand. You learn technical knowledge and skills of different brands; • You learn from different colleagues, each with their own specialty;
  • You learn to work independently in different situations, but of course your colleagues will help you where necessary;
  • During your work placement, you will not only work from our own workshop in Emmen, but at various locations in Europe;
  • After completing the work placement, you will have work experience that will look good on your resume, and plenty of interesting stories to tell.
Your work placement

You will be supervised by the technical coordinator and you will also be linked to a specialist for each project. Together with colleagues, you will work on various projects such as:

  • Quality control at agricultural machinery manufacturers
  • Rework/rebuild of agricultural machinery
  • Maintenance work
  • Dealer support

We expect you to be a team worker with a positive attitude. We offer you a contract based on a BBL agreement. Depending on your commitment, the world is your oyster. And after finishing school, there are of course plenty of opportunities for you to further discover the agricultural world through HuizingHarvest!

Our team consists of a close group of colleagues, all with a passion for agricultural engineering. We work on international projects and have very diverse customers. Large agricultural companies want to introduce the latest techniques to their companies as quickly and reliably as possible, and dealers and importers want the best service for their customers. We ensure they can complete the commissioning process without any worries and that they remain in operation. This requires practical knowledge and technical skills and, at times, tailor-made training. For you this means a lot of learning and working on the latest machinery and with the latest techniques.
