HuizingHarvest works worldwide to support manufacturers and large-scale agricultural companies. We operate in more than 70 countries. Our colleagues travel the world to our customers to perform technical work on agricultural vehicles.

What do you do as an international mechanic agrotechnology?

At HuizingHarvest you work on a project basis for various clients on the latest machinery. On location at the client you will perform work on for example tractors, combines and forage harvesters. Often this is a manufacturer, but it can also be a large-scale agricultural company. With your technical knowledge you solve problems and make sure the machines are put into operation.

Because we are brand-neutral you can develop a wide range of skills. And would you like to specialize in something? Of course you can, for example in a particular technique or in testing.

The type of projects you are assigned to is always in consultation with you and naturally depends on your knowledge and experience. You are part of the Product Support team. Depending on the project, you will work independently or in a team.

At HuizingHarvest you work a certain number of project hours on an annual basis. This means that in consultation you could combine this with business at home and be scheduled off during a busier period.

Sometimes you are home for a weekend after which you travel on again and sometimes longer. Much is negotiable and we take your wishes into account in the planning. In the winter months there is no fieldwork, so then you support factories and work on modifications and updates.
Or you’ll go to work temporarily in Australia, where we also operate. Since the seasons run in opposite directions, it’s like spring there.

Who are we looking for?

Have a passion for the agricultural sector and for agrotechnology;
Have a completed MBO4 education in a technical direction, for example agricultural mechanization, mechanical engineering or agrotechnology;
Are independent and feel responsible: you see what needs to be done;
You are a social type: you are easy to talk to, even in English;
Adapt easily to other cultures;
Can follow the protocols on the work floor, as they apply in other countries;
Have guts, love adventure and are looking for a job now.

What do we offer you?

A job that is never boring! At HuizingHarvest you work with different brands and agricultural machinery. You will travel to the projects with one of our service buses. Furthermore, we offer you:

A salary between € 2.000,- and € 3.750,- gross per month based on fulltime and depending on your knowledge and experience.
Training on the latest developments in agrotechnology.
In addition, a training budget is available for your personal development.
Reimbursement of external expenses you incur, with an additional net daily allowance when you are abroad.
The opportunity to grow to senior mechanic.
