Global Reach – Brazil

After a successful exploration by our Recruiter Erik Kramer in New Zealand and Australia at the end of March, it’s now the turn of Michel Wesselink and Tjaco Schuiling to investigate the agricultural sector in Brazil and other South American countries by the end of this month. For Tjaco, Brazil is familiar territory; he partly grew up there and speaks Portuguese.

Agrishow 2024

From April 29th to May 3rd, Michel and Tjaco will participate in Agrishow 2024 in Ribeirão Preto, São Paulo, Brazil. This leading agricultural fair, comparable in size to Agritechnica in Hannover, offers a unique opportunity to engage with agricultural machinery manufacturers and farming companies from across South America.

Agrishow Brazil
Growing Interest in South American Markets

Our interest in the Brazilian and other South American markets has been growing for years due to developments in Brazilian agriculture, especially in grains, soybeans, and other oilseeds. Insights from our global network have provided us with an understanding of the current needs and challenges of the sector. For instance, there’s a demand for qualified professionals who can share their expertise and provide training to both drivers and mechanics.

Establishing New Partnerships

With the primary goal of establishing new partnerships, we believe that through our collaboration with existing agricultural machinery manufacturers, dealers, farming companies, and startups, we can offer valuable support to Brazilian and other South American manufacturers and large-scale farmers.

Support for International Expansion

Additionally, for Brazilian manufacturers looking to enter the European or Australian market, we can provide support in the form of machinery testing, training, and on-field assistance in these regions.

Tailored Services for South America

We expect our services to align with their needs and will further investigate this during our visit. This includes:

  • Training for operators and mechanics
  • Field support and machinery testing
  • Developing business plans for farming companies focusing on:
    • Training programs
    • Machine optimizations
    • Maintenance strategies
    • Safety measures

Understanding Local Needs
But we’re not only interested in exploring the market; we also aim to understand the specific needs of local manufacturers, dealers, and farmers.

We are excited about the opportunities this trip offers and look forward to sharing our experiences and findings with you. Stay tuned for updates!
