Working Foreman – Silo Construction (Grain Storage)
Do you enjoy hands-on, outdoor work and being part of an enthusiastic crew? We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Working Foreman to lead our silo construction projects within the grain storage industry in Australia. In this role, you will actively participate in the construction process while supervising a team on-site, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
Your work will include:
* Assembling and installing silos at different project sites
* Lead and coordinate daily on-site construction activities
* Actively participate in silo assembly and installation work
* Supervise and support a team of technicians and construction workers
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures
* Monitor progress, quality, and planning of the project
* Liaise with project managers, clients, and subcontractors
* Troubleshoot technical issues on-site and provide practical solutions
Who are we looking for?
* Proven experience in construction, preferably in silo or steel structure building
* Experience in a foreman, lead hand, or supervisory role
* Hands-on mentality with strong technical insight
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Good command of English (spoken and written)
* You have a valid driver’s license and are willing to travel and work in Australia
