Embark on an Australian agricultural adventure: join the team as a tractor operator
Imagine starting your day under the Australian sky, surrounded by sprawling fields of crops. If you’re an experienced tractor operator, this could be your reality. For a leading agricultural company with 10 locations across the regions of Victoria and New South Wales, we are looking for a skilled operator to join the team.

About the job
As a tractor operator, you’ll find that not any day will be the same. The diversity of crops we cultivate means that your tasks will be as varied as the landscape around you. Whether it’s planting tomatoes, maintaining almond orchards, or preparing fields for the next season, your expertise will be essential in ensuring our operations run smoothly.

Your day-to-day in the fields

  • Tomatoes
    Your role will involve planting, in-crop cultivation, spraying, and preparing fields for the upcoming season. You’ll also be responsible for checking irrigation pumps and maintaining roads and tracks
  • Grain 
    From seeding and spraying to applying fertilizers, you’ll play a crucial role in corn-growing process. Though the harvest will be handled by a contractor, your work will ensure that everything is in perfect order leading up to that point.
  • Winter cereals
    F
    ield preparation, including tillage and leveling, will be your focus here. You’ll handle spraying, fertilizing, and maintaining the infrastructure that supports our crops, like roads, tracks, and irrigation systems. Seeding and harvesting will be performed by a contractor.
  • Almonds
    You’ll manage inter-row activities such as tilling and leveling, spraying, and weed slashing. Additionally, you’ll assist with bunkering and loading harvested nuts, ensuring our almond operations are efficient and productive.
  • Soil improvement
    Beyond specific crops, your skills will be put to use in general farm development. This includes plowing, ripping, discing, leveling fields, spreading soil ameliorants, demolishing outdated structures and preparing fields for crop seeding.

Job requirements
To be considered for this role, you must be available for at least 3 months (preferably longer). Additionally, you need a valid driver’s license, experience as a tractor operator, and you must meet the requirements to apply for an Australian Working Holiday visa.
