About the farm

For a true Canadian family farm in beautiful Saskatchewan, we are looking for a motivated employee. The farm operates 5,700 hectares, keeps 850 beef cattle and works with a modern fleet of machinery. You’ll be part of a small, close-knit team of three full-time staff, supported by seasonal workers from different countries. Accommodation is tidy and located on the farm.

About the role

You’ll take part in all activities during spring, summer and harvest. The work is varied, hands-on and ideal for someone who enjoys both arable farming and livestock work.

Responsibilities:

Spring

  • Soil preparation (various tractors and implements)

  • Seeding grain and corn

Harvest

  • Assisting with the grain harvest

  • Supporting the corn silage campaign

Beef cattle

  • Daily care of the beef herd

  • Feeding, health checks and moving cattle

  • Interested in calving periods? You can join both.

    • First calving period: February

    • Second calving period: June

  • Interest in both arable farming and cattle

  • Experience with farm machinery is preferred

  • Driver’s licence B and T (or equivalent)
