Winter in motion<\/b><\/span><\/h3>\r\n
Winter is now behind us, but the results of our efforts are clearly visible. We look back on a season full of growth, development, and new opportunities at HuizingHarvest. Staying active through the winter<\/span><\/h6>\r\nIn the Netherlands, we kept the momentum going. We supported dealers, launched a build-up campaign that will continue to take shape, and started a promising collaboration with a new customer in Emmen. Internationally, we stayed just as active. In Brazil, we completed a challenging project \u2014 a job that demonstrated not only the distance we cover but also our team's flexibility and expertise. Meanwhile, Tom was hard at work in our workshop in Australia, ensuring our clients there could also rely on our support.\r\n
Training, knowledge, & new opportunities<\/span><\/h6>\r\nAt HuizingHarvest, development never stops \u2014 and that goes for the entire team. This winter, we organised an internal training course focused on our machine scoring system, enabling us to assess machines more objectively. Nico also shared his experiences from large-scale agricultural projects, such as one in Egypt, helping the team sharpen their understanding of where our contributions have the most impact.\r\n\r\nFour colleagues completed a high-voltage training course ('Fachkundige Person Hochvolt') to prepare for specialist agricultural and construction machinery projects. We also invested in new protective clothing and HV tools to support them fully in their new skills.\r\n\r\nWe're also proud of the personal growth within the team: Gerben and Quentin were awarded permanent contracts in recognition of their development and commitment. Besides technical training, there was room for broader personal growth, covering topics from photography to combine harvester electronics and hydraulic systems. Our workshop as a place to grow<\/span><\/h6>\r\nWe are also investing heavily in the development of our workshop team. Our Technical Coordinator attended a course during the \u2018Day of the Workshop Manager\u2019, focusing on optimising workshop processes, staff management, and customer support. This fits seamlessly with our ambition to carry out even more projects in our own workshop in the coming period. It allows us to ensure a steady flow of work, offer greater growth opportunities for colleagues, and support our customers even more comprehensively. By combining fieldwork, on-site support, and workshop projects, we can respond flexibly to every demand.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n \r\n
New directions, New possibilities<\/span><\/h6>\r\nThis winter, we broadened our horizons even further. We started working in the construction machinery sector and took on our own transport jobs \u2014 something we intend to do more often. We're now looking for drivers who want to join us in this exciting area.\r\n\r\nWe also see increasing interest in regenerative farming among our clients, and we are keen to contribute through technology, knowledge, and skilled people.
