How will your journey begin?<\/h6>\r\n

You might be standing right where Nico Huizing once stood.
As a student at the University of Applied Sciences in Dronten, he went to Poland for an internship. What started as a valuable learning experience quickly turned into a lifelong passion\u2014for agriculture, technology, and working abroad.<\/p>\r\n

In 2009, he founded HuizingHarvest with one clear goal:
to provide agrotechnical support wherever it\u2019s needed\u2014at machinery manufacturers, dealers, and large-scale farms, all over the world.<\/p>\r\n

And it worked.<\/p>\r\n

Today, our team includes over 30 professionals based in the Netherlands and another 20 in Australia. All with one shared mindset:<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Frequently Asked Questions<\/span><\/h5>\r\nDo I need to live near Emmen?<\/strong>\r\nNo, that\u2019s not necessary. Our team is based all over the Netherlands\u2014and even abroad. Since our projects are spread throughout the country and beyond, there\u2019s no need to live near Emmen.\r\n\r\nWhat kind of projects will I work on?<\/strong>\r\nYou\u2019ll work on technical projects for manufacturers, dealers, and farming operations. Sometimes it\u2019s about assembly or testing, other times it\u2019s maintenance or service work. The tasks can be repetitive at times, but you\u2019ll work in a variety of locations with many different machines.\r\n\r\nDo I need experience with all types of machines?<\/strong>\r\nDefinitely not. You don\u2019t need to know everything right away. If you have technical insight and are motivated to learn, we\u2019ll guide you step by step.\r\n\r\nWill I mostly work alone or in a team?<\/strong>\r\nThat depends on the project. Sometimes you\u2019ll work independently, sometimes with HuizingHarvest colleagues, and occasionally with the customer\u2019s team.\r\n\r\nWhat does a typical work week look like?<\/strong>\r\nThat varies from project to project. In the Netherlands, you\u2019ll usually work Monday through Friday. For international projects, the days may be longer, but you\u2019ll get time off\u2014either during or after the project.\r\n\r\nWill I be home every day after work?<\/strong>\r\nIt depends on the project, the location, and your personal preferences. Some projects require you to stay away from home for several days in a row, while others allow you to return home each day.","text_right":" \r\n\r\nHow long will I be away during a project?<\/strong>\r\nFor international projects, you usually work on-site for a continuous period. This is always discussed in advance and typically lasts between 2 and 4 weeks. After that, a colleague will take over the project from you.\r\n\r\nWhat if I don\u2019t want to go abroad for a while?<\/strong>\r\nNo problem. We always plan in consultation and take your personal preferences and situation into account.\r\n\r\nWho arranges everything if I work abroad?<\/strong>\r\nFor international projects, we usually take care of your travel and accommodation. Everything is arranged and discussed in advance. If you travel to multiple locations during a project, you may organize part of your stay yourself\u2014in coordination with us.\r\n\r\nDo I need to speak English?<\/strong>\r\nA good command of English is important. Most communication within HuizingHarvest is in English, and some colleagues don\u2019t speak Dutch. Other languages are a bonus, but not required.\r\n\r\nCan I grow within HuizingHarvest?<\/strong>\r\nAbsolutely.
