Commercial project team member agricultural engineering

Do you have a passion for the agricultural sector and are you internationally and commercially oriented? HuizingHarvest has just the vacancy for you. A full-time position with plenty of opportunity to develop yourself in a company with an informal working atmosphere. In this commercial role you will collaborate with manufacturers of various agricultural machines in Europe. You investigate the issues for which HuizingHarvest’s services can be used. Of course you work closely with your technical colleagues in the field, because they will ultimately carry out the project. You ensure your colleagues can work on great assignments.
HuizingHarvest Projects

You will be working in the ‘HuizingHarvest Projects’ team. The team consists of professionals in agricultural engineering who are deployed worldwide on a project basis for technical support, such as assembly, updates, modifications, inspections and optimisation of machinery, training of personnel and advice in sowing and harvest optimisation. You offer customers practical ideas. You prepare quotes for the upcoming projects and you ensure the project runs smoothly. Our customers are located throughout Europe. Visiting your customers and participating in trade fairs is therefore an important part of the job.

About the position
  • Following up customer contacts and preparing quotes;
  • Managing the existing customer base and supervising ongoing projects;
  • Commercial activities to expand the current customer base and win new projects;
  • Visiting (potential) customers at home and abroad and visiting and participating in (international) trade fairs;
  • You have a lot of freedom to apply and develop your creative sales skills.
What we expect from you
  • You have a passion for the agricultural sector and you are international and commercially oriented;
  • You preferably have experience in a commercial position;
  • You have a demonstrable high level of professional and intellectual ability;
  • You have good communication skills and you have a good command of the English and preferably also the German and/or French language;
  • This position suits you well if you have good organisational skills, are result-oriented and if you enjoy being part of an ambitious organisation.

HuizingHarvest was founded in 2009 and currently has approximately 35 employees. The head office with workshop is located in Emmen and we have a second branch in Australia. Our clients are located worldwide and we are therefore active on a project basis in more than 70 different countries.
