Do you like working on agricultural machinery and are you looking for an international job? To expand the current team, HuizingHarvest is looking for assembly employees. In this project you will work for a manufacturer in Germany. This concerns assembly activities and final inspections of new models of sowing and cultivation machines. You work on location for two consecutive weeks, after which you have a period off to return home.

About the vacancy

In this position you have an important role with the manufacturer. Due to the corona pandemic, persistent shortages of raw materials have arisen worldwide. As a result, the production of materials has stagnated and due to the late delivery of materials, many manufacturers’ machines come off the production line incomplete. This means that the parts that are not present at that time must be mounted at a later time. To prepare the machines for delivery, you assemble parts that are delivered after or you do final checks of the machines.

What do we ask of you?

• You have affinity and pleasure in tinkering with agricultural machines;
• You preferably have a completed agricultural and/or technical education;
• You are at least in possession of driving license B and preferably also a tractor and / or forklift certificate;
• You are self-reliant, social and you have a great sense of responsibility;
• You have a good command of the Dutch and preferably also the German and/or English language;

About the work

You will be employed by HuizingHarvest, but you will work for the manufacturer in Germany. This means that you work on location in Germany for two consecutive weeks. You will work approximately 55 hours per week from Monday to Saturday. You are free on Sunday. Your travel time from the Netherlands to the production location is also paid. After two weeks, you have a weekend or longer, depending on your own wishes, to go back home. Of course you work according to the rules that apply at the production location. You work in day shifts about 10 hours a day.
